Privacy policy
Version: August 2026
This document sets out what personal data the Intelium Defence site collects, on what basis we process it, who we entrust it to and what rights you have in connection with it. We wrote it for what this site actually does - if something is not here, it is because we do not do it. This is a translation for convenience; the Polish version is the binding one.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Intelium Defence Polska sp. z o.o., with its registered office at Racławicka Center, Skarbowców 23a, 53-025 Wrocław, Poland, entered in the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under KRS number 0001239076, NIP 895 230 35 22, REGON 544632517 (hereinafter: “Intelium”).
Contact on data protection matters: biuro@intelium-defence.pl, or in writing to the registered address above.
We have not appointed a data protection officer. The law does not require us to, and every data-related request is handled at the address above.
2. What data we collect
This site is an information site. We do not sell online, there are no user accounts, and there are no forms writing data into a database of ours. In practice, data appears in three situations:
- When you write to us. We receive your e-mail address, the content of your message and anything else you put in it - usually a name, an institution and a position.
- Server logs. Every visit leaves an IP address, a date and time, the address of the page requested and the browser and system type in the hosting provider's logs. This is technical data, collected automatically and not linked by us to a specific person.
- Your browser's storage. The only thing we save there is your answer to the consent question - details in the section on cookies.
We do not collect special categories of data (Article 9 GDPR) and we do not ask for them in correspondence. If you send them on your own initiative, we delete them unless they are necessary in order to answer you.
3. Purposes and legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Answering your message and further correspondence | Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) or (f) - our legitimate interest in conducting correspondence, where the matter does not concern a contract |
| Keeping the site working and secure, detecting abuse | Article 6(1)(f) GDPR - our legitimate interest |
| Remembering your consent decision | Article 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Article 173 of the Polish Telecommunications Act - the obligation to demonstrate that consent was asked for |
| Establishing, pursuing or defending claims, should the need arise | Article 6(1)(f) GDPR - our legitimate interest |
Providing data is voluntary. Without an e-mail address we cannot answer a message - that is the only consequence of not providing it.
4. Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no cookies at all today and uses no analytics, advertising or social tools. The only thing we store on your device is your answer to the consent question - and we store it in the browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, so that asking for consent to cookies does not itself require setting one.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| intelium-cookie-consent | localStorage (strictly necessary) | Remembering that the consent question has been asked and what the answer was | Until the user clears their browser data |
Entries strictly necessary for the site to work cannot be switched off in the page settings - they can be removed by clearing the site's data in your browser. Consent is not required for them (Article 173(3) of the Polish Telecommunications Act).
If we switch analytics on in future, it will load only after your explicit consent, and this section will be filled in with the names, purposes and lifetimes of the specific files before they are enabled. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser - we will then ask again.
5. Who we pass data to
Data may be accessed by:
- the hosting and infrastructure provider for the site - [TO BE SUPPLIED] hosting provider's name after deployment;
- the e-mail provider carrying the correspondence - [TO BE SUPPLIED] e-mail provider's name;
- legal and tax advisers and providers of accounting services, to the extent necessary;
- public authorities, where they approach us on a legal basis.
We do not sell data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some IT service providers may process data outside the EEA. Where that happens, the transfer is made on the basis of a European Commission adequacy decision or on the basis of standard contractual clauses, together with additional technical safeguards.
We will provide a copy of the safeguards applied on request sent to the contact address in section 1.
7. How long we keep data
- Correspondence: for the duration of the matter, and then for the limitation period of any claims - as a rule 6 years.
- Server logs: for the period applied by the hosting provider, usually no longer than 12 months.
- Consent record: until the user clears the site's data.
8. Your rights
In connection with the processing of your data you have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy of it (Article 15 GDPR);
- rectification (Article 16 GDPR);
- erasure (Article 17 GDPR);
- restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR);
- data portability (Article 20 GDPR);
- object to processing based on a legitimate interest (Article 21 GDPR);
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent - without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
Requests are accepted at the contact address in section 1. We answer without undue delay, and at the latest within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.
9. Automated decisions and profiling
We do not take decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that would produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.
10. Security
The site runs over HTTPS only. Access to mailboxes and systems on our side is limited to the people who need it, on a least-privilege basis. Technical product material is released to verified government and institutional customers under a non-disclosure agreement - we do not publish it on the site.
11. Changes to this policy
We update the policy when the way the site works changes - for example when a contact form or analytics is added. The version date is at the top of the document.
Previous versions are available on request sent to the contact address in section 1.
