FPV and VTOL platforms on Ferrum carbon fibre airframes, machined in Poland

A family of five carbon fibre airframes in T700, one geometry in every size, cut and machined on site.

The platforms that fly our tasks stand on Ferrum frames: five sizes with one geometry, cut from T700 carbon fibre and machined in the country. It is the same family the client sells to operators through their own shop, so spares are not a separate logistics programme.

Four sizes, one geometry

The family covers Ferrum 25, 30, 50 and 70, from the micro class to a seven-inch range platform. All four share the Squashed X layout: propellers out of the camera's frame and a centre of gravity set for a full digital stack.

An operator moving between sizes does not learn the aircraft again, and maintenance works from one set of procedures instead of four.

Material and machining

  • Plates and arms in T700 carbon fibre, cut and machined on site.
  • Plates 3 mm, arms from 4 to 7 mm depending on the size.
  • Camera cage fronts printed in TPU rather than carbon fibre: on impact they are meant to deform, not crack.

Spares off the shelf

Every plate, arm and camera cage is available separately, under the same part numbers as the frame. Damage after a hard landing is replaced in the field instead of sending the airframe back to the manufacturer.
